Discussing Wildlife Corridors and More

How wild animals move around the landscape and healthy environments that can sustain them will be some of the topics covered by Dr. Jodi Hilty, executive director of the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), as part of the Malibu Library Speaker Series.

The talk takes place on Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 7 pm at the Malibu Library.

Hilty will join her voice with the current push for a wildlife corridor at Liberty Canyon in Agoura Hills which would allow mountain lions (and other critters) access between wilderness areas that were cut off with the construction of the 101 Freeway.

Trained as a conservation biologist, Hilty has additionally been involved in the challenges that climate change can have on certain wildlife and wild places.

The lecture is free, but reservations are required. Call (310) 456-6438.
